Homemade Apple Cider {I love my Vitamix}

Made from scratch hot apple cider for a chilly fall Sunday evening.

Recipe:
Several apples (about 10), peeled and cored
2 oranges
Real maple syrup
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
Ground cloves
Water

Simmer for several hours then puréed using the vitamix *swoon*.

I didn’t strain because I value the fiber. As a result, mine was a bit on the thick side. Richard’s had a better consistency as his was watered down by the Irish Whisky.

Hoping to freeze the batch in mason jars for the winter.
