Food Around the World: USA

With little on our social calendar while on the road, food became front and center. On off days, or when the weather was crap, we’d seek out the best sushi joints or any quirky local venues. When cooking camp grub, we’d often resort to the “KD plus…” menu, but generally we were pretty healthy and creative in coming up with new meals to pique our palettes’ interests. Even when cooking on the sly in a Walmart parking lot, we managed to always be well fed and satisfied.
